Ms. Cooper has been a member of All Souls since 2010. She was a Washington Interfaith Network (WIN) organizer from 2013 to 2014 and helped motivate All Souls members turn out for environmental and social justice rallies. She has been active in connecting WIN and All Souls Housing Ministries, including garnering support and resources for the Columbia Heights Village Tournament of Games.

She also helped organize a Tenants Association when her apartment was being sold and helped the tenants invoke their Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) rights. The building is currently owned and managed by Mi Casa, a nonprofit entity, of the tenants choosing, whose mission is to preserve affordable housing in the District.

As a Realtor and an Operations Manager, Ms. Cooper has witnessed the soaring housing prices in Washington, D.C. and wants to continue her work in preserving affordable housing as a Member of the CASHC and CASDI Boards.
